Every team has dozens of bright young stars that will light up the league in the near future. But let us take an early look at what each team might look like with only their players that are ages 25 and younger, starting with the Anaheim Ducks, to get a sense of their team of the future.

Right Wing: Troy Terry- 15 points in 47 games for Anaheim (NHL)- 22 years old

Left Wing: Brayden Tracey- 56 points in 49 games for Victoria (WHL)- 18 years old


Second Forward Line

Center: Isac Lunderstrom- 20 points in 39 games for San Diego (AHL)- 20 years old

Right Wing: Danton Heinen- 26 points in 67 games for Anaheim (NHL)- 24 years old

Left Wing: Maxime Comtois- 24 points in 31 games for San Diego (AHL)- 21 years old


Third Forward Line

Center: Sam Steel- 22 points in 65 games for Anaheim (NHL)- 22 years old

Right Wing: Kiefer Sherwood- 23 points in 37 games for San Diego (AHL)- 25 years old

Left Wing: Max Jones- 12 points in 59 games for Anaheim (NHL)- 22 years old


Fourth Forward Line

Center: Benoit-Olivier Groulx- 78 points in 51 games for Moncton (QMJHL)- 20 years old

Right Wing: Deven Sideroff- 12 points in 18 games for Tulsa (ECHL)- 22 years old

Left Wing: Sonny Milano- 23 points in 55 games for Anaheim (NHL)- 23 years old


First Defensive Pairing

1. Jacob Larsson- 11 points in 60 games for Anaheim (NHL)- 22 years old

2. Axel Andersson- 24 points in 43 games for Moncton (QMJHL)- 20 years old


Second Defensive Pairing

1. Josh Mahura- 19 points in 40 games for San Diego (AHL)- 21 years old

2. Jackson LaCombe- 13 points in 34 games for Minnesota (Big Ten)- 19 years old


Third Defensive Pairing

1. Simon Benoit- 18 points in 52 games for San Diego (AHL)- 21 years old

2. Brendan Guhle- 12 points in 24 games for San Diego (AHL)- 22 years old


Starting Goaltender

Lukas Dostal- 1.78 GAA and a .928 SP for Ilves (Liiga)- 19 years old


Backup Goaltender

The Ducks are a pretty recent playoff contender so they have not had a lot of time to build there prospect pool defensively. Over time, if I do anither one of these, players like Larsson, Sideroff, Sherwood, and Guhl will most likely not be on the lineup.
