Alexis LaFreniere

The NHL Central Scouting has ranked Alexis LaFreniere the number one 2020 draft prospect in North America in their last rankings until the draft. This is a well deserved accomplishment for Alexis and not a shocker to anyone. LaFreniere is the unanimous number one pick in the upcoming draft and has put up stellar points in the QMJHL, with 112, and even in the Under 20 World Junior Championship, with 10 in five games. Any NHL team would be extremely grateful to acquire this future star.
Tim Stutzle

Like LaFreniere, German forward Tim Stutzle landed at the top of the NHL Central Scouting's rankings as well. Stutzle is now the number one international draft prospect, beating out guys like Lucas Raymond and Alexander Holtz. Stutzle had a great year in the DEL, coming up with 34 points in 41 games for Adler Mannheim. His performance even made him the leagues rookie of the year.
Covid-19 News

NHL players are teaming up with CCM to donate 500,000 masks to hospital workers. Some of these players include Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin. Even female hockey stars like Kendall Coyne-Schofield and Brianna Decker are contributing as well. CCM is hoping to get all of the masks shipped out by April 27th .
Florida Panthers

The Panthers have signed prospect Cole Schwindt to a three year entry level contract. Previously a third round pick in the 2019 draft, Schwindt has had an incredible season for the Mississauga Steelheads of the Ontario Hockey League. He become the team leader in points this season with 71 points in 57 games, which is a huge improvement from his 49 points last season.
